Recap: Community School of Davidson Spartans vs. SouthLake Christian Academy
The Community School of Davidson Spartans can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They blew past SouthLake Christian Academy 60-21 at home. Winning may never get old, but Community School of Davidson sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Community School of Davidson had a senior duo take command as Tyler Baughan scored 22 points along with nine steals and Molly Feighery dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Baughan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Olivia Stewart was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Community School of Davidson pushed their record up to 16-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community School of Davidson won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lincoln Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Lincoln Charter will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Hickory Grove Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
