Softball Recap: Sanger Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Sanger's offense. They lost 12-0 to the King Wolves on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Apaches, who until this matchup were averaging 2.88 runs allowed.

Sanger's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-3. As for King, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Sanger will face off against Willow Glen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for King, they will challenge Central East at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
