Baseball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Harrison lost to St. Louis on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sharks. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew Latunski made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Josh O'Day, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for St. Louis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison will face off against Vestaburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Louis, they will head out to square off against Breckenridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
