Basketball Recap: Butler Takes a Loss

Butler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost to the Stockton Tigers on the road by a 43-27 margin. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Butler's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Stockton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butler will take on Adrian at 5:30 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Stockton, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Stockton Tigers challenge the Diamond Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
