Basketball Recap: Somerville Takes a Loss

Somerville lost against Lynn Classical back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Somerville Highlanders came up short against the Lynn Classical Rams, falling 63-43. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Rams are ranked 83rd).

Somerville's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lynn Classical, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerville has already played their next contest (against Revere), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lynn Classical has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Chelsea.
