Softball Recap: Charlevoix Has No Trouble Against Harbor Springs

Charlevoix won the last time they faced Harbor Springs and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rayders blew past the Rams 14-4.

The team relied heavily on Ayla Kemp, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Kemp is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Cunningham, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

The win got Charlevoix back to even at 2-2. As for Harbor Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Charlevoix will venture away from home to face off against Kalkaska at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Rayders are facing the Blazers at the right time seeing as the Blazers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Harbor Springs, they will challenge Kingsley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
