Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hazleton Area). They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pittston Patriots on Friday. Hazleton Area haven't had any issues with Pittston recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-6-2. As for Pittston, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazleton Area will square off against Crestwood at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hazleton Area are facing Crestwood at the right time seeing as Crestwood are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pittston, they will challenge Wilkes-Barre at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
