Basketball Game Preview: Dillon Christian Warriors vs. Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors

The Dillon Christian Warriors will head out to face off against the Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Dillon Christian came up short against Florence Christian and fell 69-57. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Southeastern Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 65-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southeastern HomeSchool. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Cardinals are ranked 123rd).

Southeastern Christian Academy now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Dillon Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Dillon Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Southeastern Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 68-64 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Southeastern Christian Academy's Ziyon Smith, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 18 rebounds.
