Softball Recap: Eastlake Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Eastlake and Juanita, and Juanita kept the tradition alive. The Wolves fell just short of the Ravens by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ravens earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Macie Parthemer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Hannah Arnold, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Eastlake now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Juanita, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Eastlake will take on Bothell/Inglemoor at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Juanita, they will face off against Redmond at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
