Baseball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carson's offense. They fell 5-0 to the McQueen Lancers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Senators in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for McQueen, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Looking ahead, Carson will take on Douglas at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for McQueen, they will venture away from home to square off against Damonte Ranch at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.93 runs per game on average), something the Lancers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
