Basketball Preview: Lyman Eagles vs. Rawlins Outlaws
The Lyman Eagles and the Rawlins Outlaws will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The timing is sure in Lyman's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Outlaws have been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lyman beat the Warriors 39-34.
Lyman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was BriLee Bradshaw out in front who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Anna France was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Rawlins was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 41-35 to the Dogies. Rawlins has not had much luck with the Dogies recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Lyman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Rawlins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.
Lyman took their win against the Outlaws in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 55-35. Will Lyman repeat their success, or do the Outlaws have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
