Volleyball Recap: Wilby Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wilby lost against Naugatuck back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-6, 25-14.

Evelyn Roca-Raymundo paced Wilby's offense, picking up three kills. Roca-Raymundo also shared the team's lead in assists with Jilianys Ramos-Santiago: they picked up three each. Danielle Pottinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wilby's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Naugatuck, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Wilby wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Kennedy on the 18th. As for Naugatuck, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Holy Cross on the 18th.
