Baseball Game Preview: Watonga Eagles vs. Crescent Tigers

Watonga is 2-7 against Crescent since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Watonga Eagles will face off against the Crescent Tigers at 4:45 p.m. Watonga will be strutting in after a victory while Crescent will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Thursday, Watonga made easy work of Cordell and carried off an 8-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Crescent's offense. They lost 8-0 to Cashion on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Watonga now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Crescent, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Watonga beat Crescent 10-5 in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Does Watonga have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crescent turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
