Volleyball Recap: Mifflin Falls to Centennial in First Game of Season

Mifflin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Centennial Stars on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-6, 25-19.

The win got Centennial back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mifflin is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Beechcroft at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centennial, they will face off against Westland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
