Basketball Recap: Veterans Memorial's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Veterans Memorial lost against East Central back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots received a blow as they fell 52-38 to the Hornets. The loss put an end to the Patriots' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Veterans Memorial fell to 2-1. As for East Central, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Veterans Memorial will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Boerne-Champion at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for East Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Harker Heights at 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
