Viewpoint and Brentwood School are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Viewpoint will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

While Viewpoint's victory against Milken wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Wildcats on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Brentwood School won against Campbell Hall on Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Eagles skirted past the Vikings 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Sam Russakoff looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jack Kaplan and Hudson Chase did most of the damage at the plate: Kaplan went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Chase got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Brentwood School is 4-1 when Chase posts two or more runs, but 5-9 otherwise. Beckett Hoffman was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Viewpoint pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Brentwood School, their record is now 9-10.
