Berrien is a perfect 6-0 against Echols County since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Berrien Rebels will be playing at home against the Echols County Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Berrien and seven for Echols County.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Berrien's offense. They came up short against Georgia Christian on Tuesday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Generals are ranked 37th).

Echols County had taken Brooks County down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. Echols County fell 2-0 to Brooks County. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly two goals.

Berrien's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Echols County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything went Berrien's way against Echols County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Berrien made off with a 5-1 win. Will Berrien repeat their success, or does Echols County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
