Sabino gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed by the Coolidge Bears at home to the tune of 40-0. The win was familiar territory for the Sabercats who have now won six games in a row dating back to last season.

Zachari Haley had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Another player making a difference was Brit Roberson, who picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Sabino wouldn't let Coolidge keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Haley, Jeremy Edmonds, and Gage Hague picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Coolidge's side was Paul Ortiz, who picked up a sack and made four total tacklestwo of which were returned for touchdowns.

Sabino will host Sahuaro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coolidge, they will venture away from home to challenge Benjamin Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
