Volleyball Recap: J.H. Rose Rampants vs. Cape Fear Colts
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but J.H. Rose had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Cape Fear Colts. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rampants also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
J.H. Rose never let Cape Fear on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-21.
Kate Wallen paced J.H. Rose's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wallen got some help from
Caroline Bayes and her 31 assists.
J.H. Rose's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. As for Cape Fear, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.
J.H. Rose has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Orange on the 29th. Cape Fear does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
