Baseball Recap: Parkdale Takes a Loss

Parkdale came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-6 to the High Point Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since March 18, 2024.

Chris Arredondo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Parkdale's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for High Point, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Parkdale by a score of 6-4 later that day.
