Football Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Jackson and Mariner, and Mariner kept the tradition alive. The Timberwolves fell 22-10 to the Marauders on Friday. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Marauders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Colby Bossert threw for 88 yards on 11 of 20 attempts. Matthew Taylor was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards. On the ground, Tre Austin rushed for 92 yards.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Mariner, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.
