Basketball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

If Randolph was feeling good fresh off their 61-33 takedown of Lake Region last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Randolph Ghosts were beaten by the Lamoille Lancers 76-40 on Friday. The game marked the Ghosts' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Randolph has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Lamoille, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph will head out to take on Thetford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Thetford Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Randolph surely won't give up without a fight. Lamoille has already played their next contest (against Hazen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
