Doddridge County's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Tyler Knights. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

Kamryn Satterfield made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other pitching news, Tessa Mayle looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, Isabella Holtz was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 contests.

Doddridge County's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Tyler, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Doddridge County will venture away from home to challenge Greenbrier West at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Tyler, they will host River at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
