Basketball Recap: Lincoln Park Railsplitters vs. Woodhaven Warriors
Lincoln Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 38-19 bruising from the Woodhaven Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railsplitters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-22 back in December of 2024.
Lincoln Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Woodhaven, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
Lincoln Park will head out to face off against Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Woodhaven, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Anderson at 5:30 p.m. Woodhaven's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Anderson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
