Basketball Recap: Big Spring Takes a Loss

If Big Spring was feeling good fresh off their 72-28 takedown of Lake View last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Big Spring Steers were outmatched by the Levelland Lobos and fell 82-31. While losing is never fun, the Steers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 873rd, while the Lobos are ranked 99th).

Big Spring has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Levelland, their record is now 13-4.
