Recap: Lincolnwood Lancers vs. Nokomis Redskins
The Lincolnwood Lancers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 49-16 loss at the hands of Nokomis. Lincolnwood has not had much luck with Nokomis recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Nokomis found their leader in underclassman Mackenzie Mehochko, who scored six points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Brownback, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Lincolnwood has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Nokomis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.
