Baseball Recap: Hilltop Wins Going Away Against Emmanuel Christian

Hilltop won the last time they faced Emmanuel Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Cadets put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 17-7 victory. The Cadets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Cameron Shimp, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Brennan Dempsey also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Hilltop always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Hilltop back to even at 2-2. As for Emmanuel Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
