Volleyball Recap: Morgan Township Takes a Loss

Morgan Township suffered their biggest defeat since September 17th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Boone Grove Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Thursday.

Noelle Keifer paced Morgan Township's offense, picking up seven kills. Keifer got some help from Sierra Ricke and her 20 assists.

Morgan Township has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season. As for Boone Grove, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Looking ahead, Morgan Township will host South Bend Riley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Boone Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
