Eastlake has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Del Valle has won four straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Eastlake Falcons will host the Del Valle Conquistadores at 6:30 p.m. Eastlake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Eastlake's tournament run continued when they took on Holmes on Saturday. Eastlake lost 10-4 to Holmes.

Katalina Herrera was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February of 2024. Dalila Cleto was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Del Valle earned an 8-4 win over Parkland on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Conquistadores in their matchups with the Matadors: they've now won six in a row.

Del Valle's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Remi Barron, who went a perfect2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was Barron's first of the season. Another was Mia Estrada, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Del Valle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkland only posted an OBP of .423.

Eastlake's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Del Valle, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both team's pitchers. Eastlake hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having hit 0 of their hits per game. However, it's not like Del Valle struggles in that department as they've hit 0 of their hits this season. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Eastlake skirted past Del Valle 12-11 when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Does Eastlake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Del Valle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
