Last Friday, Mid-Carolina lost to Fox Creek at home by a decisive 55-39 margin.
Kaden Myers put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 18 points along with 4 steals. He scored a full 46.2% of Mid-Carolina's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tymarion Floyd, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Gilbert scored an imposing 65 points on Friday, Batesburg-Leesville still came out on top. Batesburg-Leesville secured a 69-65 W over Gilbert.
Mid-Carolina bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Batesburg-Leesville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Mid-Carolina didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Batesburg-Leesville in their previous matchup on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 45-40 win.
