Primero lost to Eads 62-26 last week, the largest margin of any game. James Lujan was a bright spot for the Bulldogs, as he threw for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns in the defeat.
Hanover made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 752 from 820. The advance stemmed from a 36-8 victory over Kit Carson last week.
He went 13-27 with 1 interception.
Julian Trujillo was the best wideout in A-6 Southwest (6 Man) this week as Primero fell to the Eagles. Trujillo racked up 8 receptions for 125 yards. Jonah Bollinger helped Primero's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 50 yards.
Mark Fernandez's team's Lujan and Jussiah Sanchez led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Lujan has thrown for 1,754 yards this season, while Sanchez has 42 catches for 486 yards. Alex Burger from Cotopaxi leads the league in rushing with 1,107 yards.
The Pirates led the league in scoring this week by notching 50 points on the Pirates.
