On Tuesday, Oberlin was beaten by Harding 76-45. Oberlin was down 59-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Oberlin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Shahid, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shahid has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmello Williams, who scored ten points.
It was another big night for Yomar Castellano, who scored 20 points along with seven assists and four steals for Harding. Another player making a difference was James Gadomski, who scored 17 points along with six assists.
Oberlin's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Harding, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
Oberlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harding, they will play host again and welcome Aquinas, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
