Rio Lindo Adventist takes loss despite strong efforts from Jhordany Barcenas and Jordan Campbell

Recap: Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans vs. Napa Christian Knights

The Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans struggled with assists on Wednesday (the Napa Christian Knights had 18 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Rio Lindo Adventist took a serious blow against Napa Christian, falling 86-48. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rio Lindo Adventist in their matchups with Napa Christian: they've now lost seven in a row.

Despite the loss, Rio Lindo Adventist had strong showings from Jordan Campbell, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds, and Jhordany Barcenas, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of McKinley Ingham, who scored six points.

Breydan Worth continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Napa Christian, shooting 8-for-11 from deep and dropping a triple-double on 43 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Worth has scored at least a third of Napa Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Trammell, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Rio Lindo Adventist now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Napa Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Rio Lindo Adventist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Napa Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Summerfield Waldorf at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Napa Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 740 points over their last nine matchups.
