Football Recap: Yoakum Finds Playoff Glory Versus Mcgregor + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Yoakum walked away with it. They blew past McGregor 66-22 on Friday. Yoakum's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

McGregor's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bubba Zacharias, who threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns, and Dominic Madron, who picked up 97 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Madron was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 58 yards.

The victory was the third in a row for Yoakum, bringing their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points over those games. As for McGregor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Coming up, Yoakum will face off against Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. McGregor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
