Eureka is a perfect 10-0 against Owyhee since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eureka took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Everything went their way against McDermitt as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vandals in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Eureka never let McDermitt on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Owyhee beat Wells 3-1 on Friday.

Owyhee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-23.

Eureka's record now sits at 6-8. As for Owyhee, their record is now 12-3.

Eureka beat Owyhee 3-1 in their previous matchup last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vandals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
