Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Toledo). Everything went their way against the Eddyville Eagles on Wednesday as they made off with an 18-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Boomers, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Toledo, bringing their record up to 13-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Eddyville, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Toledo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 defeat against Reedsport on the 16th. Eddyville has also already played their next game (against Bandon/Pacific), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
