Volleyball Recap: Gracie Barrett Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Wheeler

Kell won the last time they faced Wheeler and things went their way on Thursday too. The Longhorns had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 2-1.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracie Barrett, who had eight digs and two aces. Those eight digs gave Barrett a new career-high.

The victory got Kell back to even at 3-3. As for Wheeler, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Kell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pickens on the 16th. As for Wheeler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against River Ridge on the 14th.
