Basketball Recap: Cattaraugus-Little Valley Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Tucker Barrick and Owen Wright

Cattaraugus-Little Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 63-48 bruising from the Franklinville Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-48 back in January.

Cattaraugus-Little Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Owen Wright, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points, and Tucker Barrick, who posted eight points and four steals. Barrick is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Cattaraugus-Little Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Franklinville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Cattaraugus-Little Valley has already played their next match, a 75-53 defeat against Silver Creek on the 13th. As for Franklinville, they will challenge Forestville Central at 6:00 p.m. on February 19th.
