Basketball Recap: Uintah Utes vs. Provo Bulldogs

Uintah lost against Provo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Uintah Utes took a hard 84-66 fall against the Provo Bulldogs. The Utes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Uintah still got an impressive performance from Dauson Gardiner, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds. Cash Rubio also deserves some recognition as he scored his first point of the season.

Makai Allen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Provo, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and six assists. Allen's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Crew DeMartini was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
