With a playoff game on the line, Stringer rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pine Grove Panthers as they made off with an 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for Stringer, who have now won 22 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Madilyn Graham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 24 consecutive pitching appearances.
