Recap: Palacios Sharks vs. Banquete Bulldogs
The Palacios Sharks won against the Banquete Bulldogs on Tuesday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Palacios managed a 59-55 victory over Banquete. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Banquete's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dietrich Looez, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Andrew Elizondo, who scored 16 points.
The victory got Palacios back to even at 3-3. As for Banquete, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Palacios' road trip will continue as they head out to face John Paul II at 3:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Banquete, they will square off against Lasara at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Lasara presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Banquete in Texas (Lasara is ranked 372nd, while Banquete is ranked 1216th).
