Meanwhile, Corrigan-Camden's 10-2 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 27-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Leon.
Corrigan-Camden's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Michael Sullivan, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and Tony Cooper who gained 89 total yards and a touchdown.
West Hardin's loss was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.71 points per game. As for Corrigan-Camden, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
West Hardin was dealt a bruising 56-0 defeat at the hands of Corrigan-Camden in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can West Hardin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
