Soccer Game Preview: Central Woodstock vs. Madison County

The Central Woodstock Falcons will take on the Madison County Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Central Woodstock had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Clarke County put an end to it on Monday. The Falcons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Central Woodstock in their meetings with Clarke County: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Madison County was forced to settle for a draw. They and Fluvanna County finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw two weeks ago.

With that draw, Madison County's record moves to 0-2-1. As for Central Woodstock, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
