Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Anclote Sharks 27-0. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Among those leading the charge was Niko Demos, who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 21 yards and one TD.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Central proved: they limited Anclote to a paltry -3 yards per carry. The team can thank Sam Jackson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Central didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.9.
