Softball Recap: BVCHEA HomeSchool Takes a Loss

BVCHEA HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against Texas Wind, falling 15-3. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Texas Wind apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kaylee Crump was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Sarah Boytim was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

BVCHEA HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Texas Wind, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. BVCHEA HomeSchool will square off against Mumford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mumford's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so BVCHEA HomeSchool's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Texas Wind, they will challenge Bishop Reicher Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
