Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Meyer Robb and Nash Hostetter Lead Mt. Vernon to Victory

Mt. Vernon won the last time they faced Tecumseh and things went their way on Friday too. The Mt. Vernon Wildcats took down the Tecumseh Braves 64-50.

Leading Mt. Vernon to victory were Nash Hostetter and Meyer Robb. Hostetter went 8-for-11 en route to 19 points in addition to six boards and three steals, while Robb almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Hostetter a new career-high in field goal percentage (73%). Another player making a difference was Jack Campbell, who posted six points.

Mt. Vernon's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Tecumseh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
