Preview: Cross Plains Buffaloes vs. Moran Bulldogs

The Cross Plains Buffaloes will be playing at home against the Moran Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Cross Plains will be strutting in after a victory while Moran will be coming in after a defeat.
In what's become a running theme this season, Cross Plains gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Rising Star, posting a 62-22 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Cross Plains has posted since December 5, 2023.
Meanwhile, Moran's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 17th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 39-8 loss at the hands of Baird. Moran has struggled against Baird recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Cross Plains' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-15. As for Moran, their loss was their 16th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-21.
Everything came up roses for Cross Plains against Moran when the teams last played on January 5th as the team secured a 57-29 victory. With Cross Plains ahead 39-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
