Soccer Recap: Prosper Gets the Win

Prosper kept a clean sheet against Princeton on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in February.

Hayden Crotts and Josh Lynn scored both of Prosper's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Prosper and bumps their season record up to 10-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Princeton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10-6 record this season.

Prosper didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Plano West on the 14th. As for Princeton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against McKinney Boyd on the 14th.
