Soccer Recap: Carlsbad Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Point Loma

There's no place like home for Carlsbad, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Point Loma Pointers on Monday. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 victory the Pointers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Carlsbad hit Point Loma with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Siena LeSueur, Cassidy Doogan, and Charlotte Cliff.

The win got Carlsbad back to even at 2-2. As for Point Loma, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Carlsbad is taking a road trip to challenge Poway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carlsbad is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. As for Point Loma, they will head out to take on Clairemont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Point Loma is facing Clairemont at the right time seeing as Clairemont is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
