Basketball Recap: Godwin Takes a Loss

Godwin was the 65-48 winner over J.R. Tucker when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Godwin Eagles took a 57-43 bruising from the J.R. Tucker Tigers on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Godwin's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for J.R. Tucker, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Godwin will be home for the holidays to greet Henrico at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for J.R. Tucker, they will venture away from home to square off against Colonial Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Colonial Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56 points per game this season.
